These are some of my personal memoirs on obtaining the inner peace of God and his protection of my life from the 1940s to the late 1960s. And then I jump to 1970 and share some of the memoirs that I did not share in my first book, Do You Believe in Angels.
These are real experiences in my life, and I believe they show the hand of God upon my life-as I am sure that if you look back on your own life, you will see similar traits involved with you. When stress or turmoil comes our way, we only have to retain it long enough for our brain to realize that Jesus said in Psalms 55:22 that we are to cast our burdens upon him. But most people would sooner keep them to themselves and suffer the consequences, instead of receiving total inner peace.
I have learned to give my cares and burdens over to the Lord; in the earlier years, it took time before my brain kicked in to believe the word of God. As time has progressed, the duration of the time has diminished to the point where it is usually only a matter of minutes before my brain kicks in. Although I have had troubles, trials, and afflictions the same as anybody, I have given them to the Lord and can honestly say, "I have virtually lived the last forty years basking in the inner peace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ." Unless, of course, I take the problem back from the Lord (momentarily), which I have done.
